COMPANY PROFILE
Our Philosophy H2 FILMS is all about positive energy. Everything is possible. Out of this, great commercials are born. Collaboration on every level is how we choose to harness this energy. Every person involved has something to contribute. In fact, we actively encourage it. The client, the agency, the production team, the director, the artists and the crew should all work as one. When that commercial is broadcast, they should all feel a part of it and be proud of what they have achieved. This is a business that not only needs ideas. It also needs passion to bring those ideas to life. It needs trust to give that passion room to breath. Realism and pragmatism form the foundations of that trust. And it needs creativity in abundance. Not only in terms of the visual aspect of a commercial but also in relation to the behind the scenes business involved in the making of that commercial. We are no strangers to the tight budget or short deadline. It's all part of today's reality. Conjuring up a solution is what retains the magic within commercials. We are proud of the commercials we produce. We feel gratified that our clients walk away happy. We feel even more gratified when they come back to us again. But, above all else, we enjoy it. And we hope that anybody who chooses to work with us will enjoy it too. Our Background Prior to establishing H2 FILMS in 2002, Keith Hutchinson had been a founding partner in Halford & Hutchinson Films since its inception in 1997. In that time he has been involved in the production of over one hundred and fifty commercials and happy clients. The client list included all of the major agencies and most of the major blue chip companies in Ireland. H2 FILMS has a reputation for quality and attention to detail. We demand excellence. And we work hard to ensure it. With the addition of Jack Armstrong and Roche Nirvana to H2 FILMS, we can now call upon a combined and varied production experience of over twenty years. Our Approach The H2 FILMS philosophy is more than just words. It is put into practice. We have a very open minded approach to production. We do not believe in following strict formulas. Each project is different and needs to be approached in a different way. Our objective is to give the script exactly what it needs to bring it to life, within the realities of the budget. Putting as much as you can in front of the camera is what it is all about. Being innovative is how it is achieved. This practice has led members of the team into many varied and exciting production scenarios. Building sets the size of a football field. Operating with crews that you would expect to find on a major Hollywood movie. Being dropped with 'guerrilla' style camera crews from Russian military helicopters into the middle of the Indonesian jungle. Leaving one man and his camera sitting on the side of a mountain until he came back with the shot. As true filmmakers we have travelled the world in search of the right production values. We have done whatever we need to do to make sure that we produce a commercial you can be proud of, on time and on budget. Our International Network One thing that we have learned in this business over the years is that the production of commercials knows neither boundaries nor borders. It is a modern day circus pitching its tent where it needs. Over the years we have pitched our tent on nearly every continent. In doing so we have established strong relationships with a lot of the leading production companies in many of the major production centres around the world. Relationships are important to us. In many cases we prefer to consider them as being production partnerships. If we are in need of information or assistance we can call upon our international circle of friends. A favour we are only too glad to return. Through this network of international partnerships we have been able to manage our foreign productions with incredible ease and success.
